Things To Do – Ice Skating Is Happening In Lakeland Florida

Things to do in Lakeland FLWhen I was a child, I could not wait until the lake in my hometown froze so we could strap on our skates and have fun.  Young and old were having fun either skating, playing ice hockey, and curling.  I spent hours on that lake ice skating with my friends and it did not matter how cold it was.

Fast forward the time in Lakeland, Florida. Last year I had the pleasure going ice skating again with my grandchildren.  It was a very long time since I strapped on ice skates, wobbly at first after a few rounds around the rink, I gained confident with my skating and helped my grandkids along the way.  It sure brought back some old memories….

Yes, you read correctly!  Lakeland Florida does have public ice skating that is available for all ages.

The Lakeland Center is a fantastic complex that organizes great venues throughout the year from musicals, conventions, concerts, musicals, classical concerts to one of the most visited public venues: Ice Skating.  With the holidays upon us, the organizers transform the biggest hall of this complex into an ice arena where people from all over Central Florida come to have fun and enjoy a great family time.  Adults who just want to come and watch their children ice skate do not have to purchase tickets.
